About Back 9 Woodworks

Craftmanship rooted in heritage, material, and lasting design.

Back 9 Woodworks is rooted in craftsmanship, perspective, and respect for the material. As a third-generation woodworker, I bring a deep appreciation for timeless techniques, thoughtful design, and pieces built to last.
My work focuses on custom furniture and heirloom pieces that reflect character, function, and lasting quality. Whenever possible, I prioritize local sourcing and respect for the provenance of the material, believing the story of the wood is part of what gives each piece its presence.
Back 9 Woodworks reflects both heritage and where I am today: creating refined, lasting work with a practical mindset and a strong point of view. The goal is simple — build pieces meant to be used, admired, and handed down.

The Back 9 Journey

1940s
My grandfather returned from World War II and began building homes, laying the foundation for three generations of craftsmanship.

1970s–Today
My father carried that tradition forward, evolving into fine furniture and cabinet making while teaching me that quality always comes first.

Today
Back 9 Woodworks brings three generations of craftsmanship into a new chapter—building heirloom furniture, serving boards, and one-of-a-kind commissioned pieces from carefully selected hardwoods in Woodland, Washington.

More Than Furniture

Back 9 Woodworks was built on the belief that great furniture should do more than fill a room—it should become part of the stories made around it.

Whether it's a dining table where family gathers for holidays, a conference table where ideas take shape, or a serving board shared with friends, every piece is handcrafted with the intention of being used, admired, and handed down.

If you're looking for a custom piece built with thoughtful design, premium materials, and an appreciation for craftsmanship, I'd be honored to help bring your vision to life. Every project begins with a conversation, and every piece is built with purpose.
